Weather: 87 degrees, 64%, ESE 2- E 3 m.p.h., heat index 96 degrees..
The heat wave didn't seem to stop a large crowd from racing, but Free
always brings people out of the woodwork for any event. A lot of fast
runners were in the mix but total number is unknown as mostly only CTC
members (not all though due to Bastille Day bruhaha or other reasons)
turned in tags. Lots of beer, soft drinks, Gatorade, water and Elmers
helped most get over the heat and no wind.
